Closing in 2000, Rhosdu was the internal name for Loch Lomond's grain still that used 100% barley. This release from The Nectar as part of their Daily Drams series is a 1990s vintage at 30 years old. 
 

This Old Rhosdhu was bottled in 2020 at 47.3% abv.  Old Rhosdhu is a single malt produced by the Loch Lomond Distillery from the 1960’s to the 2000’s.   This one has a particularly inviting nose with an interesting interplay of fruits and umami notes of shiitake mushrooms and broth.  The palate presents tangy notes of quince and marmalade with the medium length finish amalgamating to exotic woods and papaya.

Bottled at 47.3% with an outturn of 351 bottles.
