Glen Elgin 14 Years Old, distilled in 2008, was finished in a first fill sherry butt and bottled by LMDW for their Artist Collective 6 series in 2022. This limited edition whisky has a total production of just over 1100 bottles and a ABV of 48%.

Nose: This whisky boasts a nose of toffee, butterscotch, honey, and apple compote. The sweetness of the toffee and honey is beautifully balanced with the fruity notes of the apple compote, making for a delightful aroma that entices you to take a sip.

Originally founded in 1898, Glen Elgin was mothballed from 1901 to 1906. It tripled its production capacity in 1964, moving from two to six pot stills. It then closed once again between 1992 and 1995 to carry out renovations and install new stills. The truly enchanting palette of flavours and aromas found in this version is supported by a stunning backbone of minerality and maturity. Closely linked to one another, the three stages in the tasting dance to the rhythm of tertiary, floral, fruity and roasted pairings that reveal impressive harmony and diversity of tone.
