Bruichladdich 30 Years Old 1991 Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

This Bruichladdich 30 year old was distilled in 1991 and aged in a bourbon hogshead before bottling in 2021 at 45.2% abv with 260 bottles coming from the cask.   Now one of the most widely sought after of the Islay distilleries single cask high age statements from Bruichladdich like this never last long.    This may well be one of the most stunning examples we have tried yet… The nose is a beautiful fruit basket of nectarines, grapefruit, blood oranges and plums.   There is a stunning mineral tone as well which manifests wonderfully on the palate with slight herbal and nutty notes transitioning to a long decadent finish of orange, almonds and spice.
