Springbank

Springbank Distillery is a family-owned distillery located in Campbeltown, Scotland. It was founded in 1828 and is one of the oldest independent distilleries in Scotland.

Springbank produces three different single malts: Springbank, Longrow, and Hazelburn. Each of these whiskies has its own distinct character and flavor profile.

The Springbank whisky is made using traditional production methods, including floor malting and worm tub condensers. The malted barley is sourced from within a few miles of the distillery, and the water used in the production process comes from Crosshill Loch, which is located nearby.

Longrow is a peated whisky, which means that the barley is dried over peat smoke, giving the whisky a smoky flavor. Hazelburn, on the other hand, is an unpeated whisky that is triple distilled, resulting in a lighter and more delicate flavor profile.

In addition to producing whisky, Springbank is also known for its commitment to sustainability. The distillery recycles its waste and uses renewable energy sources, such as wind turbines and solar panels, to power its operations.

Springbank offers tours of the distillery, which provide visitors with an opportunity to learn about the whisky-making process and to sample some of the distillery's whiskies. The distillery also has a shop where visitors can purchase bottles of its whisky.
